iBoc – March 2014 – Debut Concerts
We are forming a new chorus group and we believe that everyone can sing.
Novo grupo em formação, todos podem cantar!

The Chorus is currently rehearsing
at Our Lady of Pompeii Church:

25 Carmine St. New York - NY.

Sunday Mornings:
from 11:30am to 1pm
Entrance at "Father Demo Hall" on Bleeker St. The auditorium is on the basement floor.

Thursday evenings:
from 7:00 to 8:30pm at the organ hall, upstairs from the main entrance.
We are planning many ensemble performances and new-opera concerts during the 2016-17 season.
All voices are welcome, with no restrictions to prior musical training.
The only requirement is a willingness to sing and to participate in group activities.

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in experiencing Brazilian music and culture,
including the Portuguese language.

IBOC’s Artistic Director João MacDowell will be conducting the chorus this fall.

We will be preparing music from The Seventh Seal and Tamanduá.

Let’s make music together!

The Brazilian Chorus of New York is a community service administered by the
