The 2023 Composition Workshop by João MacDowell at the Instituto Casa Nobre in Guarda do Embaú, Santa Catarina, has produced some remarkable works from participating composers. The International Brazilian Opera Company (IBOC) and Sétimo Selo Produções are presenting these works to the public, including pieces by Jorge Vieira, Dan Librelato, Natalia Varaschin, Johanna Hischler, and Gustavo Kramer. Their works range from classic styles to contemporary harmonization, showcasing the composers’ diverse talents. This workshop is a chance to witness their creativity firsthand, and the IBOC is excited to support these talented composers and share their music with audiences globally.
