ABOUT THE OPERA:
PLASTIC FLOWERS is a hybrid fashion opera for solo counter-tenor in drag, starring counter-tenor Cristian Zaragoza as Penelope. The opera explores themes of our fabricated universe of consumerism through stories of love lost. Plastic Flowers is a hedonistic homage to fashion’s decadence and a power-anthem for self-acceptance and self-love.
