The International Brazilian Opera Company (IBOC) is excited to announce digital auditions for the upcoming Opera Nova Festival in New York City on November 15 & 16, 2024, at St. John’s in the Village. We are seeking talented vocalists to fill key roles.

Audition Details:

We are currently looking for the following voice types:
– Spinto Soprano
– Lyric Soprano
– Tenor
– Baritone

To apply, please submit:

– A video link to two unedited performances showcasing your vocal range and abilities. Opera or classical repertoire is preferred.
– A link to CV and Headshot.
– Assessment of your sight-reading skills. (So we can plan for a vocal coach if necessary.)

Rehearsal & Performance Schedule:
– Rehearsals: November 5, 7, and 12 (6-9 pm)
– Performances: November 15 (7 pm) and 16, with two shows on the 16th. (3 & 7 pm)

All roles are excerpts of new works in progress.
